General Description

The device is a Flash MCU dedicated for use in low cost timer applications. It is a Flash Memory8-bit high performance RISC architecture microcontroller. Offering users the convenience of FlashMemory multi-programming features, the device also includes a wide range of functions andfeatures. Other memory includes an area of RAM Data Memory.

An extremely flexible Timer/Event Counter allows the users to count external events, measuretime intervals and pulse widths, and generate an accurate time base. Protective features such as aninternal Watchdog Timer and Low voltage reset function and ESD protection ensures that reliableoperation is maintained in hostile electrical environments.

A full choice of internal high and low speed oscillators are provided and the two fully integratedsystem oscillators require no external components for their implementation. The ability to operateand switch dynamically between a range of operating modes using different clock sources givesusers the ability to optimize microcontroller operation and minimize power consumption.

The inclusion of flexible I/O programming features, Time-Base function along with other featuresensure that the device will find excellent use in Timer applications such as water filter elements,toasters, on/off LEDs, Chargers, clock alarm and electricity cake clangs etc.
